IEEE Educational Events

This activity consisted of the execution of STEM workshops at Liceo Boca Arenal as part of the Mentes Brillantes TryEngineering initiative. Volunteers from the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica (TEC) and the Instituto Tecnológico de San Carlos facilitated interactive and hands-on learning experiences designed to encourage student interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The workshops included collaborative activities, problem-solving challenges, and practical demonstrations aimed at strengthening creativity, innovation, teamwork, and critical thinking among participating students. The implementation also involved coordination with volunteers, classroom management, distribution of educational materials, and direct engagement with the student community to ensure an effective and impactful learning experience.
