The project is a 3-week, rotating STEM bootcamp covering three underserved secondary schools in Eziobodo. We will host a 3-day outreach in each school, creating safe, hands-on learning spaces for girls aged 12–17.
Each 3-day session includes:
Day 1 – Discovering the Science Around Us
● Fun, hands-on experiments with water filtration, air pressure, and density
● Using simple materials to explain complex concepts in fun ways
● Discussions on how science shows up in cooking, farming, weather, and daily life
Day 2: Math in Motion
● Fun and engaging math games and challenges to warm up
● Teaching core math topics relevant to their current school curriculum
● Explaining the role of mathematics as the foundation of all STEM fields
Day 3 – Introduction to Engineering and Innovation
● Build-a-bridge challenge using straws, sticks, and tape — with a strength test!
● Light-up circuit building using batteries, bulbs, and wires (design your own torch)
● Group presentations — each team shares what they built, what worked, and what didn’t
● Award prizes for creativity, teamwork, and spirit
