KINDERGARTEN VISIT

KINDERGARTEN VISIT 150 150 ieeeeduweek

The IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) organized a community outreach visit to a local kindergarten.

The primary objective of this initiative was to demystify advanced technology by introducing the basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to young children in an exceptionally simple, interactive, and engaging manner.

During the visit, the team engaged the children with tailored explanations, sparking their curiosity about how technology works. To encourage their imagination, the children participated in a creative session where they drew their own ideas of smart technology, proudly presenting their artwork as captured in  The team also held an open discussion asking the children about their future career aspirations, fostering early dreams of innovation.

To celebrate their active participation and bright answers, the children were rewarded with sweets, making the experience both memorable an     joyful. This initiative directly aligns with WIE’s core mission of impactful community engagement, nurturing foundational curiosity, and inspiring the next generation of diverse dreamers, beautifully commemorated with the team, the children, and the WIE banner in
