Purdue Northwest Resource Fair was a great opportunity for parents and high school students to visit the campus and learn more about the clubs, including IEEE. Standing out as one of the highlights of the event, the IEEE guided tour held by Anhviet Van Le and Noah Jacob Brown provided guests with a look at the club’s activities and initiatives. Anhviet Van Le led the tour, meeting with many high school students and parents at the Design Studio and displaying the IEEE workspace and a variety of projects, most notably the pioneering electric car project. Noah Jacob Brown enhanced the experience by explaining the complexities of electric motors and emphasizing the varied skill set developed through the IEEE workshops. The IEEE tour was a successful and great turnout event that showcased the passion and talent of the IEEE members. The Resource Fair was not only a great chance for the club to engage with high school students, but also a stunning window for students and parents to glance at some of the IEEE’s initiatives and projects.
