The Humanitarian Outreach for Primary and Secondary School Students of Ezeoye Village is a community-based initiative organized by the Industry Application Society (IAS), IEEE Nigeria Section, to support and inspire young learners through educational resources, mentorship and moral guidance. The outreach is designed to assist students in preparing for the new academic session while addressing some of the challenges that may limit their access to effective learning materials and positive educational support.
The programme will feature academic seminars focused on motivating students, improving their learning habits and encouraging them to develop strong educational aspirations. Free books and learning materials will be distributed to participating primary and secondary school students, helping to reduce barriers to accessing essential educational resources. The initiative will also provide moral instruction and mentorship, connecting students with positive role models who can encourage discipline, responsible decision-making, personal development and commitment to education.
Light refreshments will be provided to create a welcoming and engaging environment for the beneficiaries. Through this humanitarian intervention, IEEE IAS seeks to demonstrate its commitment to community service and youth development while encouraging students to pursue education, science, technology and innovation. The project ultimately aims to inspire students, strengthen educational participation, promote positive values and equip young people with the confidence and resources needed to build a brighter future
