You are invited to an IEEE ENGINEERING CAREER discussion on December 1st, 3:00pm at Salerno’s III Pizza and Italian Restaurant in Ewing, located at 1292 Lower Ferry Road, Ewing, New Jersey. Katalin Frolio, Chair of the IEEE Princeton /Central Jersey Section Youth Affinity Group, and Joe Jesson, Chair of the IEEE Princeton LIFE Affinity Group will be hosting this event. A pizza brunch will be served. Last year, the attendees loved this event where we received outstanding feedback and to improve the meeting, we switched to an earlier start time to insure we have a quieter environment.
We will lead interesting discussions of recent engineering job growth and the new opportunities presented by this growth for both the young graduating student and the experienced engineer with many years of experience but want to focus on consulting.. This mix of the young ECE Students joining mature engineers will be sure to generate ideas and offer great motivation! Katalin and Joe will lead the discussions on working for large & small corporations and what it is like starting your own consulting corporation. We will also discuss how IEEE offers the research tools and resources to assist the life-long learner and to build your domain knowledge and expertise through the expert use of IEEE XPLORE!
Katalin is currently employed by Lockheed and Joe has retired from Motorola, British Petroleum and General Electric (awarded the GE Edison Award in 2007 for his GE patents and associated profits) before starting his consulting business, RFSigint Group. Also, Joe is an adjunct professor at TCNJ. Please send a reply to firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to attend, as seating will be limited.
