The aim of this two-hour talk is to expose the final year students to Mendeley and MS Word Template.dotx also this programme open to semester 4 to 6. This programme conducted on June 21, 2024 on the Webex platform. The first part will be a short introduction to Mendeley which is a free-academic system that enables users to organize and manage references (research/citation) using a desktop client or through an account on Mendeley web. Mendeley also includes a plug-in for Word so users can easily create citations and/or bibliographies. The second part will expose the idea of using Template.dotx for thesis/report formatting and explore the foundation of using MS Word for large documents i.e. thesis/report. This can be achieved by applying the fundamentals of formatting and styling of a thesis/report available in MS Word using the MZJ Formatting Method. As a result, participants will be able to dedicate their focus to the expansion and organization of their ideas during the thesis/report writing process, unburdened by concerns about the adjustment of figure, table, equation, citation, cross-reference numbering and table of contents. This ultimately allows for the swift and efficient creation of the entire thesis/report.
