The IEEE Power and Energy Society(PES) Kerala Section organized a Membership Development Session on October 11, 2024, in collaboration with the College of Engineering Trikaripur. Held online via Google Meet, the session featured Nikitha T., the Membership Development Coordinator for the IEEE PES Kerala Chapter’s Malabar Hub.The session introduced students to IEEE PES, highlighting its global impact and benefits for student members, such as access to technical resources, networking opportunities, internships, scholarships, and mentorship programs. Also encouraged students to actively participate in PES chapters, which offer projects and community engagement in the energy sector.Overall, the session effectively conveyed the value of IEEE PES membership for personal and career development, inspiring students to join and contribute to the global power and energy community.
