OpenGeoAI Hack 4ème édition

OpenGeoAI Hack 4ème édition 150 150 ieeeeduweek

“OpenGeoAI Hack” 4th edition, combines the two editions of OpenGeoData Hack 2020 & 2021 and the GeoAIHack 2022 edition for a bigger and more impactful event! It is organized by the AGEOS association – African Association for the Promotion of Geospatial in partnership with Innov’I, Novation City & AI Factory and IEEE GRSS Tunisia chapter  and GRSS SB Supcom. “OpenGeoAI Hack” is dedicated to exploiting open geographic data, free satellite data and artificial intelligence to create value-added applications and services. It aims to involve young people and encourage innovation in geospatial. Two challenges in parallel: Geospatial services and GeoAI Zindi. The GeoSpatial services challenge is free, teams will be able to propose innovative ideas for value-added services integrating the spatial component and especially opengeodata and pitch their solutions. The GeoAI Zindi challenge aims to respond to a specific problem with imposed satellite and reference data. The Hackathon is hosted on the #Zindi platform, a leaderboard allows teams to be ranked according to their scores. The technically best teams will have to pitch their solution to the jury. Prizes will be awarded to the teams having proposed the most innovative, most relevant and most promising projects. The hackathon will also be an opportunity for participants to meet geomatics and AI professionals, attend workshops and discover the latest trends in geospatial and AI technologies for Earth observation. Registration link: https://arcg.is/q1mjr0 Registrations are open to anyone interested in geographic data & Artificial Intelligence AI from October 5 until November 5, 2023 (If you are part of a team, registration is done per team). OpenGeoAI Hack is supported by Innov’i – EU4Innovation, funded by the European Union implemented by Expertise France
