The Hackathon is a one-day challenge designed to inspire and equip students with the skills to transform innovative biomedical ideas into viable startups. Hosted by the Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) Chapter, this competition will immerse participants in ideation, business planning, and pitching. Students will form teams, develop groundbreaking biomedical product or service concepts, and present their business plans to a panel of “investors,” gaining hands-on experience in entrepreneurship within the biomedical field.
