The IEEE-IES Hyderabad Chapter is organizing an industrial visit to Unistring Tech Solutions (UTS), Hyderabad on 29 November 2025 (Saturday). Industrial visits are among the most effective academic enrichment activities, offering students valuable exposure to real-time industrial practices.
The primary objective of this visit is to deepen students’ understanding of modern working methods and employment practices through direct interaction with industry professionals. This visit will enable students to stay updated with emerging technologies while gaining both theoretical and practical knowledge. It also helps lay a strong foundation for their career development.

Unistring Tech Solutions (UTS), founded in 2007 by veteran DRDO scientists, is an indigenous Defence R&D organisation headquartered in Hyderabad, India. UTS has significantly contributed to strengthening India’s defence capabilities. Its technologies played a crucial role during Operation Sindoor, enhancing India’s electronic warfare and counter-drone systems at a decisive moment.
UTS is the first Indian company to develop subsystems for anti-drone technology in collaboration with DRDO and private industries. It continues to lead the advancement of Atmanirbhar Bharat in defence technology. With innovations such as DRFM-based target emulators, advanced spectrum monitoring tools, and indigenous anti-drone systems, UTS is trusted by DRDO, BEL, ECIL, and the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force.
