Calling all students and power industry professionals! This is your cordial invitation to the upcoming in-person event — and debut of the new IEEE Spokane Career Series — “What it’s Like to Be a Power Engineer” on Friday, October 7th from 3-6pm. Enjoy complimentary hors d’ oeuvres at the historical Steam Plant restaurant in downtown Spokane while learning what it means to be an engineer in the power industry of the Inland Northwest. Hosted by the IEEE Spokane Young Professionals Affinity Group and IEEE Spokane, this event will include a *power* panel presentation(pun intended), a tour of the onsite Avista control room lab(!!), followed by a social hour (optional but encouraged!).
