Objective:

To create a well-rounded approach for rural Pre-university students of Coimbatore district to promote quality enhancement, focusing on academic, social and personal growth in the digital era.

Technical scope

Scope of the program is to nurture the pre-university students in rural areas of Coimbatore district, Tamil Nadu, India with following developmental activities:

·             Gain access to technologies by developing skills in digital tools, online  

communication, helping them to navigate a tech-driven economy

·             Introduce basics of Cyber Hygiene by building Digital Safety Habits

·             Reduce the gender gap in digital access and usage

Connect with others through digital platforms & build support networks

Introduction 
The IEEE Student Branch of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, in collaboration with the IEEE Computer Society (KPRIET Student Branch), was organized a special guest lecture titled ” Innovation flow – How to grow your ideas into innovations and Innovative Evolution of EVs for India “. The event has focused on the future Automotive & Manufacturing Engineering. The session had held on September 20, 2024, from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM.

Mr. Shankar Venugopal and Mr. Meenakshi Sundaram are experts in Automobiles and have extensive experience in Automobile Industry. They have discussed the challenges and strategies involved in Automobiles in today’s connected world.

The IEEE Student Branch of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, in collaboration with the IEEE Computer Society (KPRIET Student Branch), organized an insightful session titled “FLAME – Future Leaders in Automotive & Manufacturing Engineering (Session 3).” This event focused on exploring the importance of systems engineering in electric vehicle (EV) design and the application of design thinking in innovation. The session featured expert speakers, Mr. Pradeepkumar Keloth, Advisor at L&T Edutech, and Mr. Sayantan Mukherjee, Founder of The Innovators’ Garage, who shared their knowledge on EV design and innovation strategies. The session was held on October 25, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:15 PM at the LIS Lab.

Mr. Pradeepkumar Keloth is a seasoned professional with expertise in systems engineering and electric vehicle (EV) design. With years of experience in guiding engineering initiatives, he has a strong understanding of the complexities of EV systems and has been instrumental in developing solutions for advanced automotive technology. offering valuable knowledge for future automotive engineers. 

Mr. Sayantan Mukherjee is the founder of The Innovators’ Garage and a passionate advocate for innovation and creative problem-solving. With extensive experience in design thinking, he helps organizations foster innovation and enhance their problem solving abilities. In his talk, he emphasized the role of design thinking in driving innovation, guiding participants through its practical applications in engineering and product development.
