Dr. Prasenjit Guptasarma, Professor and Associate Dean, CEAS at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee College of Engineering and Application, along with Heather Pace, CEAS Liaison for International Initiatives, delivered an insightful talk on academic studies and opportunities in Milwaukee. Their presentation covered academic programs, research initiatives, and international collaborations at the university. They also highlighted Milwaukee’s rich history, cultural diversity, and thriving industries, emphasizing how the city fosters strong industry partnerships and provides students with hands-on experience through internships and research projects.  

They discussed Milwaukee’s welcoming communities and support systems for international students, including services for cultural adjustment, academic advising, and career planning. The city’s diverse neighborhoods, vibrant dining scene, and numerous parks enhance students’ quality of life.  

They concluded by inviting prospective students to explore the academic and cultural opportunities at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and in Milwaukee, emphasizing the university’s commitment to fostering a globally connected and inclusive educational environment.
