IEEE Educational Events

The open information event of the IEEE Student Branch University of Ioannina – Arta, held at the Department of Computer Science and Telecommunications of the University of Ioannina in Arta, was successfully completed.
The Branch President, Konstantinos Sakkas, welcomed the students and invited them to become members of the IEEE community, emphasizing the benefits of participation and cooperation within the IEEE global network. Then, Membership Manager, Marianna Sotiriou, presented the registration procedures and ways to actively participate in the Branch.
The keynote speaker of the event was Stamatis Dragumanos, Chair of IEEE Region 8 Professional and Educational Activities, who spoke to the students about the opportunities offered by IEEE, both at the academic and professional level, as well as about the activities implemented at the international level.
