IEEE Educational Events

The session began with Ms.Gayathri’s introduction,IEEE EDSOC college ambassador, followed by which our speaker thanking her and sharing how her journey in IEEE started. She began as a content writer and eventually coordinated events for AKSC. Throughout her career, she has worked with exceptional volunteers and was promoted to SLT mentor and later Treasurer of the EdSoc chapter. This involvement led to a major breakthrough, working with professionals globally. Although she lacked guidance in college, IEEE helped her build personal growth and develop connections. She highlighted the joy of volunteering, personal development, and the importance of seizing opportunities within IEEE. Additionally, she shared how events like E-Kites and global opportunities enriched her experience. She emphasised staying engaged in IEEE to gain exposure and build networks, advising participants to focus on both their personal growth and involvement. Afterwards Ms. Gayathri gave a brief introduction about the upcoming event E-kites which is the flagship event of the Edsoc chapter. The session concluded with Chairperson Sana Ranjith’s remarks.
