ElectroRural: Sparking STEM Interest through Basic Electronics in Rural Nigerian Schools
This outreach program will take place at Bishop Crowther Seminary School, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria, and will introduce students to the fundamentals of electronics through interactive, hands-on workshops. Participants will learn to identify basic electronic components, build simple circuits, and understand how electronics power everyday devices. The initiative will aim to ignite curiosity, promote problem-solving skills, and inspire students to consider future careers in STEM fields. By providing practical exposure and mentorship, ElectroRural will bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world applications, fostering innovation and self-confidence among rural youth.
