On July 20th, 2024, the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter at the College of Engineering Kidangoor (CEK) hosted a virtual talk session titled From Campus to Corporate: Unlocking Potential, Building Careers. The session aimed to guide students in making a seamless transition from academia to the corporate world.

The event featured Ms. Anna Thomas, an engineer at Danfoss, YouTube educator, and co-founder of the Luova Foundation. Ms. Thomas shared her unique perspective on navigating the corporate landscape, addressing key topics such as financial independence, industrial experience, diverse skill-building, and the value of networking for career advancement.

Participants also gained insights into navigating job market trends, handling economic uncertainties, and setting realistic salary expectations.
