Session 03 — Advanced Robotics & AI Engineering

Ready to take engineering to the next level?

Aurinkolab Solar Engineering & Robotics Camp — Session 03 is an intensive week for young makers aged 10 and above, combining advanced robotics, AI, Python programming, and real solar engineering. Held in a cosy historic space in Mankkaa, Espoo, with a maximum of 12 participants, every child gets hands-on time with real tools and real challenges.

On Day 1, a short placement test helps us form balanced groups so each participant is stretched and supported at exactly the right level. No prior experience required — just ambition and curiosity.

Supported by the City of Espoo and EPICS in IEEE.

PROGRAMME

  • Advanced Robotics — Build and program complex robots using professional equipment and safety protocols.
  • Python Programming — Move beyond the basics and write real code to control robots, sensors, and systems.
  • AI & Computer Vision — Explore artificial intelligence and teach machines to see and recognise the world around them.
  • IoT Basics — Connect devices and build smart systems using the Internet of Things.
  • Solar Kart Engineering — Design, build, and test solar electric go-karts — mastering speed, energy, and sustainable transport.
  • Filming & Animation — Document your projects and create short films showcasing your engineering journey.
  • Team Challenges — Collaborate, compete, and problem-solve in exciting group engineering challenges.

Included: warm lunch and afternoon snacks, all engineering materials, safety equipment, professional instruction, and camp completion certificate.

Max 12 participants. Dietary accommodations available. Multi-language instruction. STEM placement test on Day 1.
