The IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) UGA Student Chapter is organizing an outreach program on Technology in Agriculture. This workshop is designed to spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. This event will introduce students to the exciting fields of remote sensing and advanced sensing tools in agriculture, highlighting how these technologies are transforming the way we understand and manage our world.
Through interactive talks, demonstrations, and hands-on activities, students will gain insight into how technologies such as hyperspectral camera, GNSS-R, and drones are used in better agricultural planning. The program also provides opportunities to engage with university researchers and college students, encouraging young students to explore future career pathways in science, engineering, and technology.
