Applications of Microwaves in Medicine

This webinar reviews advances in microwave-based medical technologies over the past two decades, focusing on four key areas: 1) wireless communication and energy transfer for implants and wearables; 2) noninvasive sensing via radar, imaging, and biomarker detection for vital signs and glucose monitoring; 3) therapeutic applications (microwave ablation, hyperthermia, and tissue modulation); and 4) electromagnetic energy delivery for delivery for deep-tissue medical devices.
