Pink October : Kids Awareness Session

As part of the WIE Heal 4.0 celebrations during Pink October, WIE ISIMM SB is hosting a unique, child-focused awareness session. This event aims to educate young students on breast cancer basics in an age-appropriate way, fostering early empathy and knowledge about women’s health. It complements the main event’s workshops and conferences by extending outreach to the community.

Objectives:

• Teach kids simple facts about breast cancer (e.g., importance of early detection, healthy habits).
• Sensitize them to support affected families and reduce stigma.
• Promote STEM interest through fun, interactive elements tied to health tech.
• Align with IEEE’s humanitarian goals via community education.
