Title: Trends in Image Aesthetics Assessment

Abstract

With the popularity of powerful imaging sensors, it has been easy to obtain high-technical-quality images. Accordingly, people are increasingly concerned about the aesthetic perception of digital images. Image aesthetics assessment (IAA) has become a hot topic in both academia and industry, which has extensive applications in digital photography, album curation and image editing, etc. In this talk, we discuss the latest advances on this interesting topic, including but not limited to generic aesthetic quality evaluation, personalized aesthetics, and image cropping.
