The IEEE IAS Chapter at Galgotias University organized a highly engaging webinar on “The Future of Power Electronics: Exploring GaN Technology and it’s role in Advancing Power System” supported by the Department of Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering (DEECE). The session was led by Mr. Madhav Sai, from Texas Instruments. The event covered the GaN vs. Si and SiC, applications in EV chargers, AI servers, solar inverters, and adapters, industry trends in India, and research opportunities. The session was highly insightful and well-received.
