This course will be given at the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Universidad Veracruzana in Xalapa, México. There will be seven in-person sessions each Friday from April 25th to June 6th. The topics covered will include an introduction to semiconductors and main aspects of this technology in the current industrial development, followed by a series of practical exercises using some of the most common integrated circuits used in conventional applications.
