Introduction:

Marking the beginning of the school year, all student life clubs get together to organize what we call in INSAT: “Integration Day”. This day aims to introduce the new students to the clubs in our university and their activities. This day marks the start of our year in INSAT.

How it went:

The IEEE Student Branch alongside the chapters have prepared booths for each one of us. The CS Chapter booth included some items from previous events of our chapter as a showcase of our activities and the exciting opportunities awaiting for potential new members. We printed out brochures detailing the goal of CS Chapter alongside its major events throughout the year. The members of the chapter handed out the brochures while talking, explaining and answering questions of curious newcomers. We even tried to use this occasion to promote our upcoming event: IEEEXTREME which was met with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement.

Newcomers were thrilled about the goals and objectives of the Computer Society. That’s why, the CS Chapter succeeded in attracting over 300 new members that have filled the INSAT Student Branch’s preliminary form.
