Global Academic Opportunities: How to Find Research Grants
March 15 @ 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
The window for shaping the trajectory of robotics and AI ethics is open right now. Regulatory frameworks are being written. Research agendas are being set. The institutions and collaborations being formed in the next three to five years will define who is in the room when the key decisions are made. This seminar is an opportunity for this university’s students, researchers, and faculty to understand that landscape, and to decide deliberately whether to be in it.
This seminar does not require a robotics background. The principles it presents on research vision, international collaboration, and disciplinary leadership apply across engineering, computer science, social sciences, policy, and beyond.
-
Students considering international research programs, exchanges, or graduate study abroad
-
Early-career researchers wanting to expand the geographic and disciplinary reach of their work
-
Faculty interested in building or joining cross-institutional research collaborations
-
Decision-makers evaluating international partnerships, dual-degree programs, or research center development
-
IEEE and professional community members exploring how to turn community roles into research leverage
