The IEEE Student Branch, in collaboration with the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) group, is organizing a Welcoming Event for ETIT Students on October 10, 2024. This event is designed to introduce new students from the Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (ETIT) department to the IEEE community and the various opportunities available through both the Student Branch and the WIE Affinity Group.

The event will serve as a platform for students to meet their peers, learn about IEEE’s initiatives, and explore how they can get involved in technical workshops, networking opportunities, and professional development activities. The collaboration with WIE will also highlight the importance of diversity and inclusion in the engineering field, encouraging participation from all students, regardless of background or gender.
