The event on “Engineering Approach on Higher Secondary Physics” was organized by the IEEE Student Branch – STB03961 of Sri Eshwar College of Engineering, on 23 November 2024 at URC Schools. The session, led by Lt. M. Mahaboob, aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical physics concepts and their practical engineering applications for Class 12 students from URC Palaniammal Matric Higher Secondary School, Thindal. With 52 students in attendance, the event provided a deeper understanding of physics principles, fostering an interest in engineering disciplines. The interactive session enhanced the students’ problem-solving skills and motivated them towards pursuing engineering education. No funds were received from IEEE for this event.

The event successfully enhanced the students’ understanding of the practical applications of physics in engineering, motivating them to explore engineering disciplines further and fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the context of real-world challenges.
