The workshop “Empowerment of Women through Artificial Intelligence and Smart Technologies for Next Gen (EWAISTNG-2026)” was successfully organized by the Institute of Sciences, SAGE University Indore on 12th March 2026 at the Seminar Hall, Block D. The event brought together students, faculty members, and experts to discuss the growing role of Artificial Intelligence and smart technologies in empowering women and shaping an inclusive technological future.

The program began with a warm welcome to the distinguished speakers Ms. Pinki Meharde and Dr. Mala Singh Thakur, who shared their experiences and insights on leadership, innovation, and the importance of women’s participation in emerging technologies. Their sessions motivated students to explore opportunities in AI, smart systems, and technology-driven careers.

Throughout the workshop, several engaging and interactive activities were conducted to encourage student participation and creativity. Students enthusiastically participated in a Speech Competition on Women Empowerment, where they expressed powerful thoughts on the role of women in society and technology. An exciting Quiz on International Women Participation tested students’ knowledge about the global achievements and contributions of women in science, leadership, and innovation.

The event also featured Project Presentations, where students showcased innovative technological ideas and smart solutions aimed at addressing social challenges. A Poster Competition highlighted creative perspectives on women empowerment and technological progress, demonstrating the artistic and intellectual abilities of the participants.

One of the most impactful moments of the event was a dramatic skit performance based on the theme “Jab jab burai ne janam liya hai, Maa Shakti ne usse samapt karne ke liye avtar liya hai.” The skit portrayed the strength, resilience, and determination of women, emphasizing their ability to overcome social barriers and contribute meaningfully to society and technological advancement.

The event concluded with an inspiring message emphasizing that education, innovation, and technology play a crucial role in achieving gender equality and empowering future generations of women. Overall, EWAISTNG-2026 served as a platform for learning, inspiration, and creative expression, leaving participants motivated to contribute towards a more inclusive and technologically empowered society.
