The IEEE KPRIET Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group hosted an insightful online session on “Education and Career Opportunities Abroad” on 12th December 2024 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM IST. The event featured Dr. T. Rameshkumar, Assistant Director of Global Engagements, International Relations Officer, and Assistant Professor (SI. Gr) – EEE at KPRIET.
During the session, Dr. Rameshkumar emphasized the transformative potential of international education, highlighting its role in equipping women with essential skills, global perspectives, and leadership opportunities. He explored various career pathways for women aspiring to work abroad, focusing on the benefits of gaining global experience across diverse industries. His expertise offered valuable insights for all attendees.
The event witnessed 35 participants, who gained a deeper understanding of opportunities available for pursuing education and careers abroad. The session was coordinated by Indhumathi V, Event Coordinator of IEEE KPRIET WIE AG, and Rishika R K, Media Lead of IEEE KPRIET WIE AG.
