Description
The IEEE Computer Society Student Branch at CEK successfully completed Phase 1 of the “Code Wave” coding bootcamp on August 2, 2024. This phase aimed to spark curiosity in technology and provide a strong foundation in Python programming, one of the most versatile and widely-used languages in the tech industry.
Led by esteemed speakers Amil Mether and Abhiram Chandrasenan, the sessions offered a balanced mix of theory and practical applications. Participants explored Python’s syntax, basic structures, and real-world applications through engaging presentations and hands-on exercises. The practical approach enabled attendees to grasp core concepts, enhance problem-solving skills, and build confidence in their programming abilities.
The enthusiasm and active participation demonstrated by attendees underscored their eagerness to advance their skills. This phase successfully set the stage for future phases, which will delve into more advanced coding topics, guiding participants toward becoming skilled tech professionals.
