From December 11 to 19, we had an incredible experience with our basic German classes.

Over the course of four sessions, IEEE members took their first steps in the language, learning essential greetings, introductions, and basic sentence formation—all with the goal of enhancing their professional development.

Beyond language learning, we also explored German culture, gaining insight into the country’s rich traditions and linguistic nuances.

The classes were led by Tamia Zambrano, the current PES Chair for 2024, who previously lived in Germany and has firsthand knowledge of both the language and culture.

With this event, our goal was to showcase the exclusive benefits available to IEEE members, while also encouraging more people to join IEEE and take advantage of opportunities like free German classes.
