IEEE Club of BIT organized a cultural event AMONG US: Real Life Edition on the 31^st July, 2023, Monday. It was inspired by the online game app ‘AMONG US’ but this game was a bit new with different rules and a more of outdoor game.

The game entailed a group of teams participating together to solve tasks and puzzles. The teammates were categorized as crewmates and imposters. In each round while all other teams were crewmates; there was one team which was given the role of imposter. This was done randomly, the teams were asked to pick chits which classified if they were crewmates and if so the number of their team or if they were the imposters. Around 10-15 tasks were laid out in the entirety of the floor, ranging from puzzles, heads up, identifying the song and many more. The crewmates had to perform these tasks and on the completion of tasks they were given points. The points that were given depended on the complexity of the task that they performed and how well they did it. While the crewmates did the tasks the role of the imposter was to secretly kill the crewmates. They were given sticky notes that they had to stick on the back of the teams to kill them. Once killed the crewmates had to remain in the same place until they were discovered by another team. When this happens, the team that discovers the team has the right to call an emergency meeting, when all teammates have to drop whatever they are doing and assemble in the headquarters. Once this is done, they had to discuss within themselves, about whom they suspected did it and hence had to vote kick the one team that they think is the imposter. If they guess correctly the remaining crewmates are declared winners of the round and the teams with the most points that they collected from the tasks went to the final round. If they do not identify the imposter, the game goes on until the imposter kills all the crewmates, and hence qualifies to that final round.
