Recently, the Agricultural University of Athens visited the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics at the University of Thessaly, Lamia. During their visit, the IEEE Student Branch of Lamia played an active role in supporting the event and presented the goals and activities of IEEE.

Our team shared the various initiatives that IEEE is involved in, including technical workshops, conferences, and networking opportunities, as well as the benefits of being part of this global community. The presentation provided valuable insights into how IEEE helps students develop both academically and professionally.

It was a great opportunity to showcase the collaboration between our institutions and demonstrate the impact IEEE can have on students’ careers in technology and innovation.
